
WOMAD Charlton Park 2008 Tickets
25th-27th July
The WOMAD festival is returning to the beautiful Charlton Park this summer with a selection of the best music, food and entertainment on the planet. Amongst the developments this year are an Irish Ceilidh, a Sufi Night, Percussion and Dance Workshops and a Taste Café.
The site is just outside the historic abbey town of Malmesbury in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, just seven miles from Junction 17 (Chippenham) of the M4 – one hundred miles due west of London.

• if you are bringing children aged 13 and under, please order a ticket for each child in your party. Two children aged 13 and under can come free with an adult ticket holder (please order each child a 'Free Child 13 and under' ticket). If you wish to bring more than two children per adult, please order 'Additional Child 13 and under' tickets at £10 each.
• maximum 6 adult tickets per transaction.
• all ticket orders will incur a booking fee. This charge will be per order not per ticket. Your order total will be displayed to you before being asked to pay.

• Tickets will be dispatched within 28 days of receipt of your order.
• Holders of Weekend tickets are only permitted to enter the campsite and festival arena after 8am on Friday 25 July.
• In order to enter the site from 8am on Thursday 24 July you must hold a Thursday Camping Ticket (£10) in addition to a Weekend ticket.
• There is a £25 charge for all campervans using the campsite.
• All tickets are non-returnable and non-refundable.
• We do not offer refunds on the basis of inclement weather. Lost tickets and wristbands will not be replaced.
• Camping is not permitted for day ticket holders.
• Only holders of Weekend tickets are permitted in the campsite.
• Please have your ticket or wristband ready for inspection as you approach the festival entrance, campsite and arena.
• You will be required to exchange this ticket for a wristband which must be worn on the wrist at all times during your attendance at the festival.
• No overnight drumming allowed anywhere on site.
• No animals allowed on site except guide dogs.
• No trading may be carried out on site except by WOMAD authorised traders.
• In the event of antisocial, unruly, unsafe or illegal behaviour, or in the event of non-cooperation with event officials you may be required to leave the site. In this case no readmission will be permitted.
• Please respect the natural surroundings of Charlton Park - take care not to litter, damage the trees or scare wildlife.
• Line up is subject to change.

Camping:
There will be a dedicated space available for disabled campers within the main festival campsite. However, this space is limited 100 bookings.
Maximum 4 persons per booking. The camp space will be located as near as possible to the festival arena. Cars, campervans, caravans and tents used by disabled people will be allowed in this area. Please ask a steward to direct you on arrival. There are accessible toilet and shower facilities in this field. To make sure that these facilities are freely available to those who genuinely need them, please help by ensuring that the number of non-disabled campers in your group is kept to immediate family, friends and personal assistants.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to guarantee a camping space in this area you must pre-book. To book a space in the Disabled camping area, please contact the WOMAD Box Office on:Tel: (0845 146 1735) Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

This ticket gives entry to the fesival campsite from 8am on THURSDAY 24 July, when used in conjunction with a valid WEEKEND ticket. This applies to holders of all weekend ticket types . It does not apply to children aged 13 and under.
N.B Subject to licence conditions the festival arena will open at 2pm on Thursday 24th July.
Thursday Camping tickets may be purchased separately from Weekend tickets (eg if you want to decide later whether to arrive on Thursday or Friday), but please note that the standard booking fee will apply per transaction.
